Though I cannot register for your lovely workshops, I am tempted. I am a former student. I was once a lost soul who clung to life and love like it was stamped with an expiration date. I was doing some research for a class and quite accidentaly found your blog. I am married now, I have four incredible children and a warm home that lets light into the windows like butterscotch. I miss very few things about my time in Texas, but art is one of them. I isn't the terminology or specific artists I recall, but the way creating made me feel and the joy of watching others create. I took eight years of my life to stay home and be a mother to my children, but ultimately it was myself that neded mothering. I went back to school and am just a couple of semesters away from earning my teaching degree. I will be licenced to teach anything from K-6 and 5-8 in Communication Arts. I always knew I'd teach. I taught art lessons for community education where I reside in Minnesota. It's funny, Id teach anything. I just love working with the students. I thank you for the four years of high school you gave me. I miss your class the most. I love seeing your work and sincerly hope you come northward to show it sometime. I wouldn't miss it.
